Cost
Cost per session will be discussed during the consultation call. Families pay for services directly but can seek reimbursement through insurance depending on their plan (See Reimbursement).
You have a right to receive a Good Faith Estimate detailing what your services may cost prior to the start of services.
Reimbursements
Families pay for services directly. It is up to the family to determine if their insurance or other funding sources will reimburse for services. A superbill will be provided in the patient portal at the end of each month for self-pay clients. Families may submit superbills to their insurance provider for reimbursement, if applicable. Please note, it is the responsibility of the family to determine if their insurance reimburses for evaluations and/or services.
It is important to verify if your insurance provider reimburses for speech therapy services BEFORE the start of services. Additionally, it is important to determine any requirements your insurance provider may have. For example, some insurance providers require prior approval and/or a doctor’s referral prior to an evaluation taking place. It is the responsibility of the family to identify any requirements that must be met.
